Katie began playing classical guitar aged 9, before venturing into songwriting aged 12 and has since gigged all over Wales and England. In 2019 she released her debut EP 'Households' and followed this up with single 'Vanilla' in 2020.

In more recent years, she has teamed up with producer Jon Greening, releasing singles ‘Boys’, ‘Embers’ and EP ‘For The Taking’. The full results of these sessions will be heard with the release of her debut album, Wildfire, in December 2023, which will be supported with a launch show at Le Pub.

Her songs are layered, her voice tender but assured and lyrics show a maturity beyond her age and she possesses an innate ability to pen a turn of phrase, combining it with a melody that will stick in your head.

KatieLou’s influences include Lana Del Ray, Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers.
